Wayward Vessel is West Coast bluegrass from Portland, OR

Portland is full of great bluegrass bands, and we're lucky to be part of such a great community of friends, fans and musicians. Wayward Vessel plays acoustic music, born from the traditions formed by the early bluegrass pioneers such as Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley, and uniquely makes it their own by adding their own influences of pop, jazz, and everything else.

Wayward Vessel performed at The Columbia Gorge Bluegrass Festival... They not only entertained the crowd but were asked for an encore. Fine band full of heart and superb musicianship.
Wayward Vessel...a fresh new voice on the NW bluegrass scene. Full of memorable melodies, varied instrumental colors and good picking.
